Melt ponds

DMS image of two melt ponds, near the Melville Bay coast of Greenland.  The ponds are partially refrozen now and appear somewhat dark in color, but during Greenland's summer, melt ponds such as these are a brilliant blue color, and extraordinarily beautiful.
