Akugdlerssup Sermia, at left foreground, and Kangiata Nunaata Sermia, at center. The latter glacier is commonly referred to as "KNS" in the science community. Both glaciers (and many others) drain into a fjord system which empties into the open ocean at the site of Nuuk, Greenland's largest city and also its capital city.
