Jakobshavn Fjord

The long fjord of Jakobshavn Glacier, filled with ice melange.  Disko Bay and snow-capped Disko Island are in the background.  Ilulissat, a pretty and rather pleasant town situated in one of the most magnificent settings imaginable, is located on the right side of the mouth of the fjord and is visible as a light spot at the coast, near the center of this photo.
