Reminders
  • All lithium ion batteries brought onto the DC-8 need to be easily accessible in flight. Please store any items that contain lithium ion batteries under your seat or in the overhead compartments.
  • If you plan to store chemicals in the large blue box on the aircraft during the ATom-3 campaign, please write down the name of the chemical, the quantity, and your team’s name on the clipboard on top of the box (located near the entrance to the lab). Please do this before you leave this week.
  • Please make sure that all bottles being stored in the outdoor cylinder storage area are clearly labelled as belonging to you. This area is being cleaned out and all unmarked bottles will be returned to the distributor.

  • EMI Testing was completed by midday. No noise or interference was found.
  • Instrument teams made final preparations for Tuesday’s shake flight.

  • 14:00  Takeoff for shake flight
  • There will be no a/c access after the completion of the shake flight.
