ATTREX  GH Overview:

 - Congratulations to the entire GH/ ATTREX Team for overcoming one issue after another and beginning Science flights…

  o   Our new motto:  “Trust the DOP”

 

The Plan for the remainder of today is:

 -2100: Estimated Landing time

 o   2000 (tonight) – 0430 (tomorrow): GH crew will recover the aircraft, engine wash, fuel, weigh, depanel, and post-flight

 o   ~2200 (TBD): Access for Zone-25 instruments to turn-off gas…

 

The Plan for the Friday (tomorrow) is:

 -0800 – 1100: Instrument access with Aircraft Power and Data-IT Support for Post-flight

 -1200: Aircraft moved to Hangar 6

 o   If there is an instrument issue – this can be delayed – contact Dave F. or Dave J.

 

The Plan for Saturday is:

 -GH Crew Hard Down Day

 -No aircraft access

 

Outlook:

Next Instrument Pre-flight is Sunday, 16Feb

Next Science Flight is Monday 17Feb. Pin-pull at 0245. ~18 hr. flight.

ATTREX  GH Overview:

 -Aircraft Pressure Transducer repair and test finished.

 -MTP repaired, and Mini-DOAS repaired and in test.

 -GH/Science Team supported E/PO visit of 200 Guam H.S. Students today

 

The Plan for the remainder of today is:

 -1400 – 1630: Instrument Pre-flight (if needed) with VTC Power & Data-IT Support

 o   Support for Mini-DOAS may extend beyond this time at discretion of Crew

 o   Most instruments are expected to remain in their current Pre-flight state

 -~1630: Hands-off for Aircraft Fueling and Preflight activity

 

Flight-related Schedule for late today and tomorrow (Thursday):

 -1930 – 2230 (Wednesday): Day-of-Flight Instrument Pre-flight

 -0030: T-0 Briefing by Pilots, GH Crew, ATTREX Mission Science, etc.

 o   Briefing will be in GH Hangar-4 (at Crew Table)

 -0115: PMOF Staffing

 -0130: Engine Start

 -0230: Ready for Taxi and Take-off (1230 Z)

 o   Note: The “DOP Window” opens at ~0240 and closes at ~0430

ATTREX  GH Overview:

 -Today’s effort did show good GPS-DOP predictability of GH Nav quality.

 -Flight scrub was caused by delay caused by engine restart, a USAF GH Takeoff, and finally (on the runway) by a Hydraulic sensor fault.

 

Today’s Activities:

 -1100 – 1930: 2nd Crew Shift for afternoon activity

 o   GH Hydraulic Pressure Sensor replacement and testing

 o   Crew requested to remove Z-14 (Heater), Z-22 (MTP Data), & Z-61 (GWAS) Hatches

 -1400 - 1900: GH Crew, VTC & Data-IT support for Mini-DOAS and MTP troubleshooting

 -Most other instruments are expected to remain in a Pre-flight state

 

The Plan for tomorrow (Wednesday) is:

 -0730: Daily GH and Science Leads Mtg. in Hangar

 -0815 – 1315: E/PO with Guam High School Visit to GH Hangar and PMOF

 -1200 – 1500: Instrument Pre-flight (if needed) with VTC Power & Data-IT Support

 -Most instruments are expected to remain in a Pre-flight state


The Proposed Plan for Thursday is a Science Flight:

 -1945 – 2245 (Wednesday): Day-of-Flight Inst. Pre-flight

 - 0045: T-0 Briefing by Pilots, GH Crew, ATTREX Mission Science, etc.

 o   Briefing will be in GH Hangar 4, Room 3 (GH Crew Offices)

 - 0130: PMOF Staffing

 -0145: Engine Start

 -0245: Taxi and Take-off

 -~1645: Landing (14-hr flight)

Today’s Activities:

 - Aircraft, GHMOF, and Science Instrument Preflight

 -Video Crew filmed activity in the Hangar with AAFB escort


The Plan for tomorrow (Tuesday) is:

 -2030 – 2330 (tonight): Day-of-Flight Inst. Pre-flight

 -0130: T-0 Briefing by Pilots, GH Crew, ATTREX Mission Science, etc.

 o   Briefing will be in GH Hangar 4, Room 3 (GH Crew Offices)

 -0215: PMOF Staffing

 -0230: Engine Start

 -0330: Taxi and Take-off

 -~1730: Landing (14-hr flight)

 -After return to the Hangar, the crew is requested to remove Z-25 Fairing for gas valve closure

The Plan for Wednesday is for Aircraft and Instrument Post-flight:

 -0600 - ~1100: GH Crew post-flights aircraft (weight, fuel, engine wash, weigh, de-panel)

 -~1100 - 1300: Access to instruments with aircraft power and Data-IT support

- OmniSTAR Receiver replaced.

- Outdoor aircraft Nav/OmniSTAR Testing performed this morning and afternoon.

- NAV data being analyzed.

 

The Plan for tomorrow (Monday) is:

- 0700: Daily morning meeting of Leads for GH, ESPO, Science in the Hangar

- Aircraft prep (OmniSTAR installation secured for flight, etc.)

- Preflight of Instruments with Aircraft Power and Data-IT support

  o 0900 – 1200 (proposed, to be confirmed at 0700)

- Aircraft Preflight

  o 0600 – 0900, and 1200 – 1430 (proposed, to be confirmed at 0700)

 

Outlook:

- Tuesday Science Flight (times are proposed)

  o Day-of-Flight Inst. Pre-flight: 2030 - 2330

  o Engine Start: 0230

  o Take-off: 0330
