ATTREX 01/17/14 Daily Schedule
The Aircraft is in Guam!

NASA AV-6 landed a short while ago at AAFB in Guam after an ~20 hr flight from EAFB.

It has just been towed in to the hangar. The aircraft is being weighed and then it will be refueled.

Instrument access will be at noon Guam time.

 

A more complete schedule outlook will be provided later today.

Henceforth, all times posted in these status updates will be given in Guam Time (UTC + 10)

ATTREX GH Overview:
  • ATTREX Instruments Ready for final pre-flight procedures.
  • A/C To PMOF (Guam) Comm Testing Guam successfully accomplished on Jan 9th.
  • ATTREX air cargo picked up. ETA to Guam: Jan 16th and at AAFB: Jan 17th.
Today's Accomplishments:
  • A/C To GMOF (Guam) Comm Testing Conducted.
  • T-1 Brief. Some open items identified and pending to be closed by T-0 briefing tomorrow.
Plans for Wednesday, Jan 15 (@ DFRC):

1000  A/C Power On.

ATTREX 01/10/14 Daily Schedule

ATTREX GH Overview:

-   Instrument Teams continue to return to DFRC and work on their instruments

-   Testing with the PMOF in Guam accomplished (see pic).

 

Today’s Accomplishments:

-   Satcom Testing by the Data-IT Teams at DFRC and in Guam with the aircraft to the PMOF Trailer was successful.

      o   There is therefore NO plan to move the aircraft outdoors tomorrow.

ATTREX GH Overview:
  • Instrument Team’s continue to return to DFRC and work on their instruments.
Today’s Accomplishments:
  • GH Team has successful DFRC Tech Brief for ATTREX Mission.
  • ATTREX Science Team Meeting
  • ESPO continued to prep the LD3’s for loading with Science-related equipment for shipment to Guam.

-          GWAS finished their switch-out of canisters in Z-61
