ATTREX 01/26/14 Daily Schedule

ATTREX  GH Overview:

- Science Flight is postponed to Tuesday 0600 ChST due to wind conditions here at Guam today.

 

The Plan for tomorrow (Sunday) is:

- Decision was made at 0730 to postpone the preflight to tomorrow due to weather conditions.

- The aircraft remains in the USAF GH Hangar - No aircraft access of any kind today

 

The Plan for Monday is for Instrument and Aircraft Preflight:

- 0615 – Aircraft OmniSTAR testing outdoors prior to return to Hangar

ATTREX  GH Overview:

- Science Flight postponed to Monday 0600 ChST due to wind conditions here at Guam.

 

The Plan for tomorrow (Saturday) is:

- Hard Down Day for GH Team

  o No aircraft access of any kind

 

The Plan for Sunday is for Instrument and Aircraft Preflight:

- UPDATED: 0800 – 1100: Instrument Team Pre-flight access with Power.

o Please start at 0800 – hands off at 1100.

- UPDATED: 1100 – 1500: Aircraft Preflight by GH Crew

ATTREX 01/23/14 Daily Schedule

ATTREX  GH Overview:

- Instrument and Aircraft Pre-flight.

- Ready for first Science Flight

 

Today’s Accomplishments:

- Preflight of all instruments and aircraft.

- GH Team T-1 Briefing

- ATTREX Science Team Meeting

- Fire Watch Training for DFRC GH Team by AAFB Fire Dept.

 

The Plan for tomorrow (Friday) is:

- 2300 – 0200: Day-of-Flight Instr. Preflight by PCRS, Mini-DOAS, and DLH.

  o Instrument Team hands-off at 0200

GH Overview:
- Rain, Rain… (Deluge, deluge) go away.
- Pics to prove the point.
 
Today’s Accomplishments:
- Final activity by Instrument Teams prior to preflight for first Science Flight
- Some teams have completed their pre-flight activity.
- Announcement of a 1-day delay in the Science Flt.
 
The Plan for tomorrow (Thursday) is:
- 0800 – 0945: Req’d Engine wash by Crew
- 1000 – 1300: Instrument Team Pre-flight access with Power.

ATTREX  GH Overview:

- Instrument and GH Team continue to prepare for the first Science Flight

- Pics of some of today’s activity in the Instrument Trailers…

 

Today’s Accomplishments:

- Final activity by Instrument Teams prior to preflight for first Science Flight

- The Hawkeye Team (with Avionics and Data-IT support) successfully implemented and tested the new MPCS I.L. control of their Heaters.

- Some teams completed their preflight activity on the aircraft.

-  Preparations continue for the first Science flight.

 

Today’s Accomplishments:
-  Power Pallet data download
-  Hawkeye wiring modification to enable Payload Interlock Circuit control of heaters
-  Aircraft Payload System Satcom testing completed
-  Science Mission and Pilot Flight Planning continues (see pics)

-   0700 – 1230 ChST:  Instrument Team access to Aircraft, with Data-IT & Aircraft Power support

    o   Note this is a change from the previous posted schedule

-   Instrument Teams and GH Crew & Data-IT worked to prepare for the first Science Flight

-   Final reminder that all times and dates for this and future Status and Schedule Updates will be in Guam (CHST) Time (UTC+10hr)

Today’s Accomplishments:

-   ESPO’s LD3’s with Science gear arrived at AAFB this morning.

-   Scientists have had access to their instruments for post-flight/pre-flight activity.

ATTREX GH Overview:

-   With the successful Ferry/Science Flight from DFRC to AAFB in Guam – preparations are now being made for the first ATTREX Science flight from AAFB.

-   Several items are being worked – details below

-   All times and dates for this and future Status and Schedule Updates will be in Guam (CHST) Time/Date (UTC+10hr)

Today’s Accomplishments:

-   AV-6 lands at 2207 Z after a ~20 hr flight from EAFB.
