The plane will be towed into the hangar upon landing. There will be a lapse in power lasting 6-10 minutes.
Power/access will be provided in the hangar as needed.

  • For those who are flying transit and did not deliver luggage today, bring it first thing tomorrow.
  • Enterprise rental car return in Salina: fill up your tank. Park your car at hangar 600. Leave your keys with Bernie. Invoices will be emailed.
  • Hertz rental car return in Salina: return your car to Hertz at the commercial terminal. Marilyn will pick you up at the pre-arranged time.
  • Bldg 703 lab access can be provided. All the normal access/badging rules apply.

  • All shipment items must be in the staging area by 1300 Wednesday. The truck will depart Thursday and arrive Palmdale Saturday latest.
  • Enterprise rental car return in Salina: park your car at hangar 600. Leave your keys with ESPO.
  • Hertz rental car return in Salina: return your car to Hertz at the commercial terminal. Arrange pickup time with ESPO.

- We reviewed lists of persons who need a) pickup after car rental return, b) shuttle to the Avis/Budget counter on Rancho Vista after transit, or c) access on Friday September 6. If you missed this discussion see Bernie or Marilyn. 
- All shipment items must be in the staging area by 1300 Wednesday. The truck will depart Thursday and arrive Palmdale Saturday latest.
- We also discussed limitations on luggage in the cargo hold for transit flyers. Questions: see Bernie or Marilyn.
- For those who are flying transit and will deliver luggage for the hold, bring it by Wednesday 0900.
- Last LN2 delivery should be Tuesday; last dry ice delivery should be Wednesday.

Monday is PACK DAY.

  • There will be a designated area for staging items that are packed and ready to ship.
  • Provide as many items as possible to the designated area, on Monday by COB. This should include all cylinders and hazardous items. Talk to Drew Thompson about exceptions.
  • All items due to the designated area by Wednesday, 1 pm.

If you are on transit, will return a Salina rental car the morning of September 5, and did NOT receive an email from me (Bernie) today (August 31), please email me.
