ATTREX GH Overview:
- With the successful Ferry/Science Flight from DFRC to AAFB in Guam – preparations are now being made for the first ATTREX Science flight from AAFB.
- Several items are being worked – details below
- All times and dates for this and future Status and Schedule Updates will be in Guam (CHST) Time/Date (UTC+10hr)
Today’s Accomplishments:
- AV-6 lands at 2207 Z after a ~20 hr flight from EAFB.
- The aircraft has been fueled for the first Science flight next week.
- Scientists have had access to their instruments and have begun post-flight activity.
- ESPO reports the Science LD3’s are arriving at Guam Int’l this afternoon.
The Plan for the tomorrow (Saturday in Guam) is:
- 0700 – 1100 ChST: Instrument Team access to Aircraft, with Data-IT & Aircraft Power support
o Hands-off at 1100 for aircraft prep to take outdoors
- 1200 – 1500 ChST: Aircraft outdoors for Payload System Iridium Testing
- 1500+: Details TBD – but likely aircraft tow to USAF GH Hangar. No Access overnight or on Sunday…
The Plan for the Sunday in Guam is:
- Hard Down Day for everyone – no aircraft access.
Outlook
- The next Science Flight is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday 21 Jan’14
o Monday AM: All Instrument Teams can expect Pre-flight access with Power from 0700 to 1100 ChST.
o Monday PM: Aircraft pre-flight activity
