Daily Schedule

Pencil in July 12th (after 12pm) & July 13th for showing up at AFRC Palmdale to collect your equipment arriving by sea. These dates are not 100% firm, we are still waiting for confirmation but I wanted to inform everyone ahead of the 4th of July weekend so that you have time to plan and make preliminary travel arrangements.

As a reminder, every instrument team is responsible for their own shipping arrangements from AFRC to your home institutions, please ensure that there is a representative from your team (and that he/she has been cleared to access AFRC) to prepare and send off your equipment.

We will keep you updated of any changes/confirmation as we get closer to the date.

Do a quick cleanup of your work areas.

Personnel transiting on the DC-8: drop off your passports at the ESPO desk in building 1187 by COB Monday. Tim Moes will get them stamped and processed out with immigration first thing Tuesday morning.

Deviation from these rules almost guarantees that all of our shipment will be retained by customs. Don’t be the one! A good rule of thumb is if you can bring it as a carry on, it is ok.

Attire: Casual. While not mandatory, it has been requested that we wear our KORUS-AQ shirts (wash them tonight if needed!)
