It is situated right in the heart of town on Main Street within walking distance to many of the island’s restaurants. Each of its 87 rooms has a private waterfront balcony, good beds, a pull out sofa bed, a comfortable working area with a desk and chair, and free Wi‐Fi and wired Internet ports. The Best Western Plus Chincoteague Island is a good option if you’d like to stay on the quieter and more wooded eastern part of the island. The hotel is right outside the entrance to the Assateague National Seashore and is connected to a bike path that takes you into the park. Bikes are available to rent with discounts for long term rentals. The rooms themselves are the largest by square footage on the island. Each room has a good‐sized table to work at (in lieu of desks) and brand new beds. Free Wi‐Fi is available in every room and the third floor rooms are hard wired. A free hot breakfast is served from 6 am ‐ 10 am, but the hotel manager promised that they could work with irregular schedules. There are good restaurants within walking distance and a 25¢ trolley operates to Main Street and back until around 10pm and you can always bike into town for dinner. Another plus is their outdoor grill area (bring your mosquito repellent). It is only a 15‐minute drive to Wallops Flight Facility. 72-hour cancellation policy. It is down Main Street a bit, close to Bill's Restaurant. The hotel has 3 floors and 55 guest rooms, free breakfast, and free wireless in every room. 72-hour cancellation policy. ONLY AVAILABLE TO NASA EMPLOYEES AND CONTRACTORS WITH PIV BADGES OR PEOPLE HOLDING US GOV'T CAC CARDS The Eagle’s Nest Inn & Suites is a fantastic budget lodging option. It is located right outside the Wallops Flight Facility main gate. Three types of rooms are available for under per diem: $28/night for a standard room with shared bath (26 total), $66/night for a two‐room suite with private bath (20 total), and $76/night for a two‐room suite with private bath and a small kitchenette (5 total). There is NO TAX added to the total. Some suites have pull out sofas, which are available by request. If you would like family members to stay with you at any time during the mission, please notify erin.czech@nasa.gov so that we can arrange unescorted gate access for them. All rooms have queen beds, cable TV, desks, and free Wi‐Fi. Laundry is free. The only drawback is that there is no evening or weekend food service on base. However, it is only a 10‐minute drive to the Food Lion supermarket and Ocean Deli (open 7 days/week from 6:30 am – 10 pm) is just down the road. The full-time Front Desk Clerk, Debbie Toth, is located in Building F-5's lobby area. The Front Desk hours of operation are: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM. The cost of lodging is $49.00 per night. The preferred method of payment is by Visa, MC, or Discover. All reservations must provide payment information in the form of an accepted credit card at least 48 hours prior to arrival in order to be confirmed.

Lodging reservations can be made Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM by contacting Debbie Toth at 757-824-1697 or at Deborah.J.Toth@nasa.gov. There is a 24-hour cancellation policy. All reservations cancelled less than 24 hours prior to arrival will be charged for one night.Due to security policy no persons requiring an escort are allowed to utilize this lodging facility. Proper badge and non-escort status are necessary for overnight stays. Hotel amenities include:
