1/17 Plans:
DLH to arrive at the hangar @ 01:00 for instrument preflight
mini-DOAS and HU/PCRS to arrive @ 02:00 for instrument preflights
Engine start @ 05:30
Take-off @ 07:00 for a 4-5 hour range flight
Instrument teams need to be at the GHOC @ 05:00
1/15 Accomplishments:
Successful completion of CST
Removal of not leaking nose gear strut from AV-1
Removal of leaking nose gear strut from AV-6
Installation of AV-1 nose gear strut onto AV-6
1/16 Plans:
Perform nose gear strut servicing and complete functional checks
Preflight aircraft for Thursday 07:00 take-off for range flight
Tentative plan is still to perform science flight on Friday
1/14 Accomplishments:
The Ku system issues encountered during the attempted CST turned the exercise into a "Pre-CST" which was accomplished with full Ku functionality
After the CST begin repairing aircraft nose strut (leaking) (If it goes well it could take about a day)
1/15 Plans:
CST - Instrument team representatives need to be at the Payload Operations Room in the GHOC @ 08:00

1/12 Accomplishments:
49ers completely dispatch The Pack
MMS network interface problem turned out to be a bad ethernet cable; it was changed and the system works fine
GWAS fixed a noisy manifold pressure sensor
HU/PCRS continued system calibration work
DLH performed high altitude pressure control system work
1/13 Plans:
Off aircraft instrument system work
1/11 Accomplishments:
Locked ground station Ku dish on AMC16 satellite (will get us through the range flight and some flight plans in the Pacific, coverage map is attached)
Cannot get ground station dish down to 3° above horizon to lock onto Amazonas1 (@ 5°), looking to cancel Amazonas contract and look for another satellite
HU/PCRS dewar plumbing completed
Refining MMS network interface
1/12 Plans:
Continue MMS internet system work

Unfortunately the ground station did not have the same success
MTP successful with iridium checks
