The next opportunity for an ER-2 (autopilot) flight check is next week, Wednesday. There is instrument integration work that can be achieved and instrument team members are making travel plans accordingly.

For Palmdale planning assume the following: ER-2 transits on Thursday August 26, nominally 0900 takeoff. There will be support at AFRC to properly shut down the instruments, turn off gas bottles. Friday August 27 is an RDO. Trucks depart Salina Friday; expect them to arrive in Palmdale Monday August 30. Download begins Monday. Sammy (and a few others now in Salina) will be with us at download. Quincy Allison and Michael Schroeder from ESPO will be in Palmdale to unload trucks.

There is some uncertainty. The trucks could be late. If we fly science on Monday, August 23, ER-2 might transit one day early, on August 25. If this occurs, it would not change the shipping schedule.
