  • Equipment Bay / Q-bay (64.6 ft3) behind the cockpit (two 16-inch nadir ports, no FOD shutters); 3 Q-bay rack designs available supporting payloads of up to 825 pounds
  • Nose (47.8 ft3) (one 16-inch nadir port, no FOD shutters), supporting payloads of up to 600 pounds
  • Wing pods (four 16-inch nadir ports, 3 zenith ports, no FOD shutters)
    • Right wing pod is 86 ft3
    • Left wing pod is 86 ft3
  • Centerline pod (14.0 ft3) (1 nadir port, no FOD shutters)
  • Radio systems: UHF, VHF, HF, ATC Transponder, TAVAN, ADF, VOR/LS, GPS
  • Inertial Navigation System (INS)
  • Temperature and pressure probes
  • Camera system
  • NAVREC Navigation Recorder
  • Additional small instrument accommodation areas: System 20 pod (0.74 ft3), the fuselage aft cavity, the tail cone, and the wingtips and left/right cheek area.
