Infrared weather satellite image from this morning

This morning's infrared weather satellite image, showing the telltale counterclockwise cloud circulation around low-pressure centered over east-central Greenland.  The far western portion of the ice sheet, near Disko Bay and the Nussuaq and Umanaq Peninsulas, is clear.  The northerly winds on the west side of the low pressure system also brought unusually cold air to our base at Kangerlussuaq.  Local temperatures here were -22C this morning.
