[Firex-aq] FIREX-AQ DC-8 Status and Schedule as of 10 July 2019

Dear FIREX Team,

Attached you will find the latest schedule updates. The changes are mainly to the order and timing of flights next week. Along with the schedule, seating charts are provided for the Test, SARP, and Transit flights.

Please identify your team members who will be flying on each of these flights. Send the names (and associated instrument) to Chuck Irving (charles.e.irving at nasa.gov<mailto:charles.e.irving at nasa.gov>).

Since there is an urgent need for the Monday flight manifest, please get names for the first test flight to Chuck by tomorrow (Thursday, 11 July) and for the other flights as soon as you can.

Updated flight plans for the test and transit flights are also attached. The current plan for the transit flight will focus on science for the California Air Resource Board who will also be conducting mobile sampling in support of FIREX-AQ. Don’t forget that we will seek to sample a fire in the second test flight. We will discuss plans for that flight in more detail next week.

All other instructions for access between now and Monday 15 July remain as stated in the 3 July update.  Key action items in that update are also included in the attached slides.
