If you are receiving this email, it is because we have not received notification from you on if you will be attending the EPIC workshop this year.  If you have not responded: please review the information and follow the steps below.  If you feel you are receiving this email in error, please disregard.

The EPIC To-do List

1 – Confirm your attendance (Please reply to this email). If you would like to be removed from this list, please let me know.

2- Please email me:
·      A picture of you (for an EPIC photo album)
·      A short biography (1 paragraph)
·      A list of all of the locations your group has operated from or did site visits to in the past 10 years.
·      A list of all of the locations your group plans to operate from in the next 5 years.

3 – For the workshop- bring with you and be prepared to speak to:
·      A 10-minute presentation about your group and what you do.
·      2 slides regarding lessons learned
·      A 5-minute fun presentation for a lightning talk with stories of crazy things that have happened in the field.  “Didn’t see that coming.”
·      Be prepared for a round table discussion on technology (what works for you).
·      Be prepared for a round table discussion on social media/PAO/outreach (what works and what do you avoid)
·      Be prepared for a round table discussion on cultural challenges you’ve faced.
