INSPYRE’s First Science Team Meeting
Posted 3/3/26
INSPYRE’s first Science Team Meeting was hosted at the University of Iowa in Iowa City from February 18–20, 2026. A big thanks to Jun Wang and his team at U of I for their generous hospitality and support throughout the week.
The meeting brought together over 130 researchers, instrument teams, modelers, and partners from across the INSPYRE collaboration. Over the course of three days, participants shared updates across workstreams, strengthened cross‑team coordination, and continued preparing for INSPYRE’s first field deployment for data collection scheduled for this summer.

A gallery of photos, including some from STM, is available for public viewing.
Presentation materials and session recordings can be accessed on the INSPYRE internal site: 2026 STM Presentations and Recordings (login and password required). The full meeting agenda and poster list is also available here for reference.
Thank you to everyone who contributed time, expertise, and enthusiasm. The collaboration and momentum from this week set a strong foundation for the exciting work ahead.
