Transportation to and around Boston
Amtrak offers fast Acela rail service between Washington and Boston as well as additional trains serving the northeast corridor and regions beyond. Check out routes and plan your trip on the Amtrak website. Travel to either Boston Back Bay station (about 0.8 miles from the hotel) or Boston South Station (about 0.7 miles from the hotel).
Fly to Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) served by a wide variety of airlines. Logan is about 5 miles from the hotel.
Extensive public transportation is available in and around Boston, including to/from Logan Airport, via bus and rail operated by the MBTA (Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority), know as the "T." Visit the T's Logan Airport page for more information about the airport routes outlined below. Please also visit Logan Airport's public transportation page for more information about these options as well as water transportation options, including ferries.
- A free SL1 Silver Line bus picks up at every Logan Airport terminal; ride to South Station and walk about 0.7 miles to the hotel, or walk to Otis and Summer Streets and take the 504 bus to Stuart and Charles Streets.
- A free Massport on-airport shuttle provides service to the MBTA Blue Line airport subway station; this is the same shuttle system that serves the rental car center and water transportation dock. Take the Blue Line to Government Center. From there, you can take the Green Line to Boylston or the Orange Line to Tufts Medical Center, both close to the hotel. Alternately, you can walk about 0.8 miles from Government Center to the hotel. The subway trip is $2.40 one way; purchase tickets from machines at the airport MBTA station.
