Brief Bio: 

Biological Oceanographer with a research focus on ocean color algorithms related to dynamic processes such as river plumes and phytoplankton blooms. Recent work focuses on ocean color algorithms to detect phytoplankton functional types for use to track carbon flow through ecosystems, validate mechanistic biogeochemical models, and detect harmful algal blooms.
