All -

We made good progress today. A good percentage of the discrepancy was for materials not specifically categorized as HAZMAT and another chunk for HAZMAT that will be ferried on the WB integrated into your instruments.

Here's where we currently stand with Shipment1; please give it a quick scan for accuracy. If you see any issues with it arriving early next week please let me know ASAP.

I've updated the logistics/hazmat spreadsheet at: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B1LEQz_xeLNpVnFHNGhnQ0E3c2c/view?usp=sharing

Many thanks,

Ron

Subject: SDS / HAZMAT inconsistencies -- please review database for accuracy ASAP
Importance: High

POSIDON Team,

We are trying to finalize our 22AUG and 19SEP shipments. HAZMAT is a major areas of concern that could derail our plans. There is a significant inconsistency between the number of HAZMAT items identified for shipment and the number of SDSs submitted. Your timely assistance is needed to resolve this situation.

Logistics plan: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B1LEQz_xeLNpa0xOc0VCT184dmM/view?usp=sharing

SDS: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B1LEQz_xeLNpWFlqcGdsV2doVjQ

Please download & review the logistics plan for accuracy and provide changes/feedback to me ASAP. Specifically, review your HAZMAT items.

My core concern is that we have 11 HAZMAT items identified, yet we have 49 SDSs in the library and the administrative side of the 22AUG shipment closes out this week.

Following is a summary of Teams / HAZMAT identified as well as number of SDS submitted (based on data pulled from the links above):

[cid:image001.jpg at 01D1F33B.9BB3D8D0]
Examples:

- PANTHER/UCATS submitted 23 SDSs and has identified two HAZMAT items in the 22AUG shipment1

- FCDP/2DS/CPI submitted no SDSs yet has identified one HAZMAT item on the 22AUG shipment1

It is cause for concern to have 49 SDSs submitted yet have only 11 HAZMAT identified when we're expecting ALL HAZMAT to be on the 22AUG shipment and paperwork/authorization for that shipment is being closed out this week.

It is cause for concern that we are pursuing approvals for the 19SEP shipment2 based on partial data (incomplete quantity / volume / weight information).

I know we can only do what we can do, but this is critical path and I now categorize the schedule as yellow/red - approaching high risk.

Ron
