Hiyall, 

I have booked my room for San Diego for the Scripps precruise conference. I’m staying at the Bay Club Hotel Marina (it’s on Shelter Island and therefore convenient to MarFac and to the airport) and if you book thru Expedia it’s like $127/night. They had a few rooms left as of this morning. I stayed there when I went down to MarFac to look at the ships in December and it’s fine. As Davey mentioned if you stay in La Jolla it’s close to UCSD main campus and SIO main campus but not the marine facility and the ships, and it’s a bit of a nuisance drive depending on traffic.
