[Exports_project_office] potential government shutdown

Hi to all,

it seems that things are going in wrong direction on the Hill. Same as last time, if NASA email system goes down, we will switch to gmail group. I will send an email from it in case it happens, so you can use it to reply.

This doesn't affect our meeting on Sunday in any way. We are on for the meeting.
If shutdown happens, Paula, Laura, Vidal and Antonio will not be able to join us, but meeting is on. Rest of us are above the law muahahaha..

Hello to all,

by now, you should have received an email telling you that you have been added to a gmail group called "EXPORTS all gmail".

Obviously, we have a potential government shutdown starting tonight. We have no idea what will happen, but judging from the previous ones following might happen (that will affect all of you):

  1.  our mailing list will not work (all incoming emails will be archived and released once shutdown has ended)
  2.  our conference line will not be operational
  3.  emails of everyone that have .gov will not be operational
  4.  civil servants will not be able to work.

This might not be the case, but this is what happened last time.

With this in mind, I added everyone on exports_all list to the gmail list you got an email from.
IMPORTANT
If you have not received that email, or you prefer to use another email for that list, or you are not enabled by you universities/institutions to use google groups, please email me.
Please don't use this exports gmail mailing list till I say so - you will recieve an email from me saying that the list is operational.

Everybody with nasa.gov email (Paula, Laura, Quincy, Vidal, Chris, me...) will not be able to access their emails, till the shutdown is not over. I have cc-ed my gmail address in this email so you can get to me. Civil servant will probably not be allowed to work (Paula), not sure about contractors, but I can :) so bug me as much as you can.

Our conference call on tuesday is still on. You will get an info about how to connect.
