Dear CPEX-CV community,

PLEASE READ! This email contains important information.


  1.  The logistics Tab on the ESPO CPEX-CV website has a lot of information. https://espo.nasa.gov/cpex-cv/logistics
     *   Shipping- Details on how to ship support equipment to Sal
     *   CPEX-CV Deployment guide. General information on deploying to Sal. Local area information, travel and, COVID safety (updated as of June 28).
     *   CPEX-CV Science Team meeting information
     *   CPEX-CV lodging – Booking information for Sal Island and the DC8 transit lodging in Dulles
     *   CPEX-CV QNC flight clearance -  how to obtain your clearance to fly on the NASA DC8
  2.  Hilton hotel Sal Island reservations. IMPORTANT READ!
     *   CPEX-CV has a room block for the field deployment. This room block does not require pre-payment.
     *   We require all project participants to make room reservations within this room block. This means:

                                                               i.      No third-party hotel reservations (no Expedia, no Orbitz, and even no Hilton Honors website)

                                                             ii.      If you have been asked to pre-pay.                                                            iii.      There is only one room rate, 128 Euros per night per single occupancy. If you see more options, you are not on the right reservation page. The reservation system will take your credit card information and block one night of lodging.

                                                           iv.      Do not wait until the last minute to make your hotel reservations.
