All,
Please reference the email below for the general return plan for P-3 and C-130 as well as other important information to close out this 2nd deployment in Greenland. Some of the information is repeated from the last closeout plan, however there are some new updates, so please read the entire message.
Luggage:
We will segregate luggage for those disembarking at Burlington so please make sure it is labeled (PINK for WFF, BLUE for BTV). The colored tape is located at the staging area. If you need any help, just message me and I can help make sure it labeled and staged appropriately.
For folks getting off at Bangor, please see Kelly to confirm your luggage situation so she knows you’re planning to bring it on the P-3. I will separate these to make sure they are not mixed with the C-130 luggage pile.
P-3 Estimated Transit Time:
If the P-3 takes off nominally at 0800, the ETA at Bangor will be ~1330 local. Depending how long custom takes at Bangor, the ETA to WFF can be ~1630. Please plan your transportation and/or hotel accordingly. Dan will be at Wallops and can assist with transportation, if needed.
C-130 Estimated Transit Time:
The C-130 will depart after the P-3 is airborne. If we takeoff nominally after the P-3, the estimated arrival at Burlington will be around ~1400 local time. I suggest booking connecting flights after 1600 local to allow sufficient time for customs clearance and luggage retrieval. However, please be mindful for any possible delays, so plan accordingly.
Arrival to WFF is dependent on customs, however, Kit is pre-coordinating with the FBO/Customs office there. If all goes smooth, ETA at WFF will be ~1700 local time, but please plan accordingly.
Base Room and Meal Cards:
When you leave, please pack your bedding in the black plastic bags provided and leave them outside your door in the hallway. If you don’t find any, you can get some from the cleaning/laundry rooms. Otherwise, let me know.
If you plan to get breakfast in the morning on transit day, you must drop off your meal cards after paying. The Base is running out of meal cards. There is a drop box located next to the cash register – see below.

Cleaning:
You don’t need to clean your rooms the project is paying for this, however, through away your perishable garbage (we don’t know when they will get to be cleaning these.) Let's ensure we don't leave a negative impression.
Please try to leave Building 201 and Hangar 8 as clean as possible, we were gifted these areas. You don’t need to move the tables in Bldg. 201, leave two chairs/table and store the surplus in the small “quiet” room. Please take away all garbage. We appreciate any help in making sure the hangar, living spaces, and office space is tidy before we depart.
Please let us know at espo-arcsix at nasa.onmicrosoft.com<mailto:espo-arcsix at nasa.onmicrosoft.com> if you have any questions or concerns.
Thank you,
