Hello and Happy Thanksgiving, SHARC Team!

In addition to wishing you a Happy Thanksgiving on what is sure to be a unique an memorable holiday, I am passing along the email below from Clayton Turner, Center Director of NASA Langley Research Center (who many of you got to meet when he came to see us off at PHF).

I would like to add my own personal thanks to each and every one of you. You’ve each given up a lot to be here and it’s not lost on me that there’s no way to repay you—no paycheck can compensate you for missing a month of your life (quite a bit longer than that for our MARS team). So thank you. I hope that, like me, you too find satisfaction in knowing that you’re doing something of value to humanity, that the data that we’re chasing will ultimately be of benefit to all of our fellow inhabitants of Earth.
