[All] macOS Updates - New "Suspicious" Pop-Up

Good morning team,

I’ve canceled this policy. You should not see it pop-up, but if you do please choose to defer it until tomorrow.

These peoples’ systems still need one or more critical macOS security updates installed. When convenient for you (i.e. no meetings for several hours, or overnight) please verify that you have a current backup and choose Check for Apple Software Updates from Self Service. It may take some time to download in the background and install, after which you may need to reboot (which may take another ~10-25 minutes).

  *   Katie
  *   Bernie
  *   Quincy
  *   Marilyn – after pending arrival and setup of a new backup drive
You will know that you are done when there aren’t any other updates to install (except Catalina…).

Good evening team,

If you see a pop-up like the below, please do not be alarmed. It *IS* new and you would be correct in being suspicious if it popped up on your system without prior warning (go Bernie!!), but in this particular case it was setup on the back-end by me to help install system updates that are overdue.
