ATom Plan of the Day

A/C access for Tuesday (7/19) will be approx. 0700 to TBD

We originally were planning for a 1000 takeoff but due to pilot availability the morning is no longer an option. We are going to attempt and afternoon flight, time TBD after confirmations in the a.m.

Short summary story for flight today is the "hum" was still present, though it was not as prominent and had a few different characteristics which led to the removal of the SAGA chimney inlets and a blank off plate installed.

This is our next flight attempt for investigating the "hum".

ATom Plan of the Day

A/C access for Monday (7/18) will be approx. 1030 to 1500

We are planning a 0900 takeoff for the first t/s effort for the "hum" issue. Should only be an hour.

We will have details available following the flight and at 1300 on whether we will need a flight on Tuesday. If we do need to fly Tuesday we are planning two flights so access will be limited.

ATom Plan of the Day

A/C access for Saturday (7/16) will be for the CIT-CIMS servicing. No aircraft access. Mike Moore will assist the servicing at 0700.

Reminder: we still have not been able to locate and eliminate the source of the “hum” found during the shake flight. As a result, we are planning a 1 hr  flight on Monday 7/18 to T/S our latest finding and attempt at a fix. PLEASE BE DILIGIENT IF YOU HAVE LEFT OR ARE LEAVING BEFORE NEXT WEEK TO KEEP YOUR INSTRUMENT AS WELL AS THE A/C IN FLYABLE CONDITION.

Flight is set for 0900. A/c access for those here will be available shortly after the flight is completed and aircraft is in hangar. Only available until normal crew day of 1500-1530.
