DC-8 QNC Flight Clearance Status – updated May 8

WPAFB Gases
Size 150 aluminum cylinders will be in high demand for this project, and they are in short supply. Please leave ample time to place your gas orders for this phase of our deployment. For example, two weeks from now could be too late for supplier to accommodate everyone's needs. Ideally, place the order now to arrive sometime during the week of July 17.

A few reminders:

• Always carry your badge/visitor badge with you. Some doors in the hangar will let you out, but not in unless you have the badge
• Only closed-toe shoes are allowed in the hangar. It will get hot in a few days, but the A/C works very well in the lab, have a light sweater/jacket handy
• If you need hearing protection, it is widely available in the hangar, if you cant find any, please see ESPO.
• Remember that you must notify the hotel of any planned changes to your travel dates at least 48 hours in advance, otherwise, you might be charged penalties.
• Keep an eye on the WhatsApp chat groups, most information will go out that way, before it goes out via email. Also, the POD is always poisted on the ESPO website: https://espo.nasa.gov/aeromma
• Please let us know if any incidents that may happen on/off base, we’ll try to help.
