Abandoned DYE-2 radar station.

A zoomed-in view of the DYE-2 radar station from 31,000' MSL, at local sunrise.  The bright feature behind and to the left of the radar dome is the top of an enormous snow drift, illuminated somewhat dramatically by the low sun.  The massive facility is a Cold War relic of the U.S. military and was abandoned decades ago, along with its sister station known as DYE-3, which lies about 100 miles to the southeast.  Both stations are being slowly buried by snow accumulation.
