Purpose of Flight:Science
Comments:Final science mission completed yesterday (3/27). All lines planned were flown (no coordination with ROCIS aircraft). Weather and ATC handling remained very good. A couple new aircraft maintenance issues have surfaced from this last sortie: aircraft pressurization (difficult to hold cabin altitude during climb), and engine auto/continuous ignition system (stuck on #2 engine during climb). Both issues were intermittent in nature but need maintenance to investigate prior to return home. The ITT issue described in earlier reports has not reoccurred and as of now is a deferred item. Our maintenance crew is working hard to resolve and will keep all appraised of our decisions for return. Hope to still return by Thu 3/29!
