Purpose of Flight:Science
Comments:Science mission flown today in coordination with ROCIS King Air A90 aircraft flying below us. This was our second sortie teaming with another aircraft for data. All lines planned were flown. An apparent error in the #2 ITT gage observed during engine start yesterday was also seen by mechanics during engine starts this morning (both engines). However, there were no gage issues when the aircrew started engines prior to flight. Still “green” for aircraft but will continue to monitor what I am calling an intermittent issue. Next planned takeoff from KMSY will be 1530Z (1030 CST) on 27 Mar 2018. This will be a “single” ship effort and is the last scheduled science sortie for the deployment.
