The observations reported below were made during sunrise on 000315. Solar zenith angle during the measurement ranged from 91 degrees to 84 degrees at the 20 km tangent point. A time-resolved (3 minutes per profile) dataset from single limb scan retrievals for abundance profiles of ClO is available. Please contact Robert.A.Stachnik@jpl.nasa.gov 9 The following profile is the flight average of single retrieved limb scan emission spectra recorded by the JPL Submillimeterwave Limb Sounder (SLS) instrument. On this flight, the SLS contained 2 submillimeterwave receivers to cover emission lines of ClO, O3 and HCL near 640 GHz and HNO3 and N2O near 600 GHz. The 311 GHz receiver for H2O measurements in not currently in the balloon SLS. Profiles were obtained from limb scan spectra using an iterative least-squares fitting procedure. Temperature and pressure profiles for the atmospheric radiance model (reported in this file) are from a PTU sonde launched from Esrange on 000314. 74.23608 12 290.17 28.75 68.98 28.10 2660.00 10 1.68e-07 3.5e-08 9.90e+01 9.9e+01 7.96e-11 1.1e-11 1.58e-11 6.3e-11 3.10e-07 4.1e-08 7.49e-10 2.7e-10 232.9 219 332 70.1 16.1 12 1.06e-06 4.8e-08 9.90e+01 9.9e+01 2.14e-11 5.8e-11 1.33e-11 6.7e-11 2.80e-07 2.1e-08 7.46e-10 3.1e-10 157.4 216 367 70.0 16.9 15 1.25e-06 2.0e-08 9.90e+01 9.9e+01 1.50e-10 4.8e-11 3.41e-11 5.6e-11 2.10e-07 9.0e-09 3.13e-09 1.9e-10 105.7 210 400 70.0 17.9 17 1.41e-06 2.9e-08 9.90e+01 9.9e+01 2.37e-10 6.1e-11 2.13e-10 4.9e-11 1.33e-07 7.8e-09 4.74e-09 1.7e-10 70.1 205 439 69.9 18.9 20 2.39e-06 3.6e-08 9.90e+01 9.9e+01 1.37e-09 6.2e-11 9.19e-11 4.0e-11 4.62e-08 6.8e-09 9.05e-09 1.5e-10 46.2 202 489 69.8 20.1 22 3.89e-06 4.9e-08 9.90e+01 9.9e+01 1.89e-09 7.6e-11 2.28e-11 4.4e-11 2.61e-08 4.1e-09 6.00e-09 1.7e-10 30.5 205 556 69.7 21.4 25 3.66e-06 4.3e-08 9.90e+01 9.9e+01 2.05e-09 6.2e-11 2.10e-11 3.8e-11 1.48e-08 3.2e-09 3.69e-09 1.4e-10 20.2 217 662 69.6 23.1 27 4.23e-06 5.1e-08 9.90e+01 9.9e+01 2.51e-09 6.4e-11 5.12e-11 4.3e-11 1.31e-08 3.5e-09 3.44e-09 1.6e-10 13.8 228 778 69.3 25.5 30 7.05e-06 1.3e-07 9.90e+01 9.9e+01 2.09e-09 1.6e-10 3.64e-10 6.3e-11 1.10e-08 1.0e-08 1.63e-09 4.8e-10 9.6 236 893 69.0 28.1 32 7.40e-06 1.4e-07 9.90e+01 9.9e+01 4.03e-09 1.8e-10 2.47e-10 6.4e-11 6.46e-09 1.2e-08 1.62e-10 5.1e-10 6.7 241 1011 69.0 28.1 37 5.86e-06 5.0e-08 9.90e+01 9.9e+01 3.34e-09 1.4e-10 3.62e-10 5.6e-11 3.43e-09 7.5e-09 9.83e-11 2.8e-10 3.5 270 1368 69.0 28.1 50 1.93e-06 1.3e-08 9.90e+01 9.9e+01 2.57e-09 6.4e-11 2.92e-11 7.7e-12 5.95e-10 2.6e-08 8.78e-11 2.9e-10 0.6 230 1899 69.0 28.1
