As Xiong explained, he Barry have prioritized accommodating Eric and Brittany in person. They should follow the link below asap to register and submit information about their posters so we can add them to the list we hope to post over the weekend (if they don’t make the list we will add them later). Please don’t request an oral presentation instead.

·         The organizing committee is finalizing the agenda and will post it on the meeting website very soon. Registered attendees will be notified by email update.

·         We will also communicate to presenters about deadlines for slides, poster formats, etc. in the weeks to come. Note that physical poster space will be 4’ x 4’ (half of a large poster board) or approximately 1.2m x 1.2m.

Hi Jim:

No problem. I have seen similar confusion from other people. I have discussed this with Barry and Lynn. We will try to accomodate Eric and Brittany (as David will not attend as he later clarified) to attend the meeting in person. Looks like Brooke did not register officially either, so she does not need to cancel.

Lynn will send a link for Eric and Brittany to register (including poster title and brief abstract, etc) when she got a chance from her full day schedule.

Thank you for getting back to Eric and Brittany on their inquire regarding attendance.  I apologize that everyone hasn’t followed through with registration.  In addition to Barron’s in-person attendance, Eric, Brittany, and Dave Williams had all made travel arrangements and reservations for in-person attendance.  This TEMPO/GEMS STM came up on our Friday morning meeting today, hence the emails.

We do know that Brooke Stutzman from the USCGA will not be attending and I’m wondering if she has sent in a cancellation notice.   I also believe Eric and Brittany were planning on presenting posters, but you wouldn’t have that information if they didn’t complete registration.

Any accommodation that you can make for in-person attendance by Eric, Brittany and Dave would be appreciated.   I’m sure they can make a judgement call on attendance of sessions of interests given the capacity issue.

Hi Brittany and Eric:

Thanks for your inquiry into this. Looks like we do not have both of you in the list of registrations. From EPA, we only have Barron Henderson attending in person and Jack Creilson attending on line.

Looks like David Williams and Eric submitted the interests in attending the TEMPO-GEMS workshop in the initial questionaire we conducted in December 2023/January 2024, probably not in the official registration.

Jim: Other than Brittany and Eric, who else you know from EPA who is interested in attending?

As we are reaching the maximum capacity of the meeting, I need to check with the other support team members about whether we are still able to accomodate your request to attending the meeting in person. At least, you can still register to attend the meeting on line.

My supervisor at EPA (David Williams) had registered myself (Brittany Thomas) and Eric Baumann for the conference. It was awhile ago, and he’s not sure if he’d registered the poster title, and I’m hoping someone could look that up for us? The poster would be showcasing the Duke Forest TEMPO trailer, if that helps identify the submitted poster title.

Also, we’re wondering what poster sizing is required, and if our contact info is on hand for poster session schedules?
