Thank you again for your quick response. I’m reasonably confident we will be able to make space for Ms. Scheehle, so I’m attaching the invitation letter you requested. I’ll confirm by the end of the week after I check with the rest of the organizers.

I will be happy to supply an invitation letter, however registration is required, and I cannot find Elizabeth Scheehle in the registration database. In person registration for the workshop closed on June 28. Would the registration be under another name? I also need an address/contact information for the letter.

As noted on the meeting website we may be able to accept a few late registrations based on availability of space in our venue.

Hi Aaron and T/G Workshop Support Team,

Now that the new fiscal year in California has started, I am interested in processing an out-of-state travel request for Elizabeth Scheehle, Chief of the Research Division at CARB, to attend the TEMPO/GEMS Joint Science Team Workshop in August of this year.

We were part of the TEMPO meeting in late 2023 and have been studying its capabilities since we saw its first light at NASA Armstrong (AEROMMA/AGES+ DC-8 tour hosted by Carsten and his team).

TEMPO has substantial potential for CARB applications: wildland fire chemistry, urban and agricultural NOx sources and transport, O3 chemical regimes, etc. This is especially important as we strive to lower the annual PM2.5 levels to the new 2024 NAAQS.

I am hoping that you can send us a letter of invitation to this event to help justify CARB’s travel (end of this week or early next week). Joining this event will help CARB advance our policy and research discussions in the state.

Please let me know if this request can be accommodated or if you need additional information from me to make it happen.
