Dear Hyunkee:
We discussed about having a side meeting to discuss about TEMPO/GEMS BTDF, instrument alibration issues as well as other science algorithms. Jhoon suggested having a BTDF/calibration meeting first on Sunday afternoon and then present a summary of this discussion at a later TEMPO/GEMS side meeting which may include more people to participate. Do you have more thoughts about this? Should we just have 1 meeting focusing on the calibration and L0-1b? It can work if everyone is involved in the L0-1 can make it on Sunday. Or should we still have two meetings?
Also you have seen, Shobha's team could not attend (Shobha, Pubu, Hai, and Zhigang), although Kai Yang can give Zhigang's talk as a coauthor. But the other three (from Tuesday afternoon's session) might need to be cancelled and greatly affect that session (reduce # of talks from 7 to 4 in that session). Also we have not heard from Pieternel about whether her talk can be given by someone else. Originally, we want to combine Pierternel and Dennis's talk in to the same session but could not accomodate it on Tuesday. Do you think if it is a good idea to move Pieternel (if someone can give the talk) and Dennis's talk or other talks to session 4 (after checking with Dennis)? Or should move a few posters to oral?
Please let me know if you want to set up a meeting to discuss about both things.
I am also open to hear about comments from anyone else.
Thanks and best.
Xiong

Sihyun and Hyunkee,
Can you please provide me with an agenda for the side meetings that have are being scheduled? Also, do we want any of these meetings posted on the hotel information signs? As you know, we only have one boardroom reserved for these meetings, so they should not overlap.
I’m including Xiong on this message – Xiong, if you have any side meetings scheduled please also let me know.
Thank you,
Lynn
