Mute/Unmute
It worked well to not mute everyone.  Muting everyone would require you to raise your hand to be unmuted.  Tomorrow we will continue letting you mute and unmute yourself.  If your mic is left on, we may have to mute so we can hear the presenter better.

Controls
The key about using this Webex is the controls at the top of the screen when someone is presenting.  Move your cursor to the top for the floating icon tray.  Here you can mute/unmute yourself, float participants panel to easily mute/unmute yourself and raise your hand, float chat panel to text to All Participants, change view size and in breakout rooms, leave to join another breakout room. Session Chairs

  *   Feel free to send me the slides as a backup to share.  It may make it easier for you to see Chat and raised hands in the Participant panel.
  *   If you have others you want to present their slides so they can point with their cursor, I can make them Panelists.  If other speakers in your session will just be talking, they can stay as an Attendee and unmute themselves.

Group Photo:
Before breaking for lunch, we will ask you to share your video, look in camera and smile.  I’ll take screen shots and put together a collage for a “group photo”.  This is optional.

Poster Sessions:
Please email me if you have feedback about poster sessions and any suggestions we can implement for Friday’s session.  This is the first time using this Webex for poster sessions.  There were some audio carry-over issues from main room and other breakout rooms.  We will report this issue to Cisco.  Apologies for the trouble.

4. Click "Join Now".
5. Follow the instructions below on how to connect audio.

How to connect Audio

Preferred Option: Using Computer for Audio.  This is at no cost to you.  Check that your computer isn’t muted for audio output.

Option 2:   Select “Use Phone“.

Enter your phone number and WebEx will call you.  This is at no cost to you unless your phone plan charges over a set number of minutes.  Make sure your computer is muted so that there isn’t feedback.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: This Webex service includes a feature that allows audio and any documents and other materials exchanged or viewed during the session to be recorded. By joining this session, you automatically consent to such recordings. If you do not consent to the recording, discuss your concerns with the meeting host prior to the start of the recording or do not join the session.
