Hi all,
Big Picture overview: Uneventful day.
- Sun July 30: hard down day DC-8, GV and GIII
- Mon July 31: TEMPO planned first light. No flight DC-8 and GV
- Tue Aug 1: potential flight all aircraft (Chicago)
- Wed Aug 02: TEMPO potential first measurements DC-8, GV and GIII flight planned.
- Thu Aug 03: media/VIP day in Dayton.
Aircraft:
AEROMMA:
- Sunday July 30th: hard-down day for DC-8
- Monday July 31st: access day
STAQS:
- Sunday July 30th: hard-down day for GV and GIII
- Monday July 31st: planned GIII flight to Baltimore (9AM take-off 5h flight)
CUPiDS:
Sunday, July 30: Flight day, 2 flights
Monday, July 31: Flight day, 2 flights
Tuesday, Aug 1: Flight day, 2 flights
Wednesday, Aug 2: Start of EMMA, no flights for next 4-5 days
NEC-AQ-GHG:
- The Cessna will fly back to Maryland on Saturday.
U. of Alabama SeaRey:
- SeaRey continues flying out of Kenosha.
Ground:
NYC FROG-NY:
- FROG-NY is operational and collecting in Mineola, NY.
NYC-METS Manhattan Site:
- No significant updates.
NYC-METS Yale Coastal Site:
- No significant updates.
NYC Long-term Queens ASCENT Site:
- No significant updates.
The CIX:
- Most instruments are up and running.
- Saw elevated ozone and aerosols today during a very hot day.
Chicago:
- U. Wisconsin GC-PTR-ToF is operational in Chicago downtown
