[S-MODE] Sally Ride sails tonight!

Hi all,

An update from San Diego (with pictures!). We are getting close to seeing the full investigation in motion.

Mobilization for the S-MODE science cruise on the Sally Ride is going smoothly with the ship scheduled to set sail tonight at 8pm. The labs below deck are looking great and the always awesome science party and ship’s crew are all smiles and ready to go.

By the way, a big thanks to our friend from NASA HQ, Nadya Vinogradova Shiffer, for coming out to visit! It was a real pleasure to host her for the day!
