Plan of the Day for Friday, October 29 (all times Pacific):

Announcements:

The B200 flew its sixth flight of the field campaign, and the TO flew its fourth flight. Lots of fog was encountered. Four Wave Gliders were deployed; one of the Wave Gliders (Planck) had to be recovered shortly after launch (communication failure). It will likely not be repaired before the end of the campaign. R/V Oceanus is finishing its EcoCTD survey line today, and will continue to transit to the new target tomorrow and do another EcoCTD survey.

Friday, October 29

  *   Ship and in situ operations
     *   Saildrones and Oceanus will be travelling east in an array tomorrow
     *   By afternoon, they will be in the new target area
  *   Flight outlook
     *   B200 surveys the same region as Thursday
     *   1300: Takeoff - B200 Flt 7 (crew brief at 1130)
     *   TO flight scheduled, takeoff time TBD
     *   Possible biology day with MASS flight and PRISMA (depending on fog). EcoCTD cast at noon to line up with the PRISMA overpass
  *   1400: Daily Control Center meeting
  *   Virtual Media Day

Saturday, October 30

  *   Ship and in situ operations
     *   Focus on new target area, while maintaining larger scale measurements
