Plan of the Day for Wednesday, November 3 (all times Pacific):

Announcements:
Flights today were called off due to persistent low-level fog and low winds. Several NAVO Gliders were recovered, with the aim to collect all of them by the end of the day. A Lagrangian Float was deployed but failed soon after and was recovered. Low winds also affected the Saildrones (SD), but winds should improve tomorrow morning. Wave Gliders (WG) are heading west and focusing on charging batteries.

  *   Flight outlook
     *   Forecasted winds will be good for DopplerScatt, but low-level fog may still hinder MOSES and MASS.
     *   1230: Takeoff - B200 Flt 10 (crew brief at 1100)
     *   TO flight 7 scheduled, takeoff time TBD
  *   Ship and in situ operations
     *   Oceanus uCTD survey around SD/WG array
     *   SD/WG array move into place for afternoon DopplerScatt velocity intercomparisons
     *   Oceanus continues survey overnight with IR calibrations
  *   1400: Daily Control Center meeting

Thursday, November 4

  *   Flight outlook
     *   B200 flight 11 & 12 scheduled, takeoff times TBD (two 4-hour flights)
     *   TO flight 8 scheduled, takeoff time TBD
  *   Ship and in situ operations
     *   Reposition WG/SD at interesting features
     *   Oceanus surveys and deploys drifters for intercomparison
  *   ~1200: PRISMA overflight
  *   1400: Daily Control Center meeting
