[S-MODE] Science Report for May 10 and Field Update

Hi everyone,

S-MODE is not flying today or tomorrow due to suboptimal weather conditions offshore of Southern California, but the team is aiming for flights Friday with a DopplerScatt/MOSES and MASS joint data collection. Ernesto’s field experiment report from Monday, May 10 is attached.

Summary of flights so far:

  *   5 flights with the AFRC B200 (w/ DopplerScatt and MOSES)
  *   3 flights in conjunction with the TOI Twin Otter (w/ MASS)
  *   3 B200 overflights of the WHOI wave glider (1 in conjunction w/ the TO)
  *   1 overflight of the ONR Task Force Ocean experiment site w/ the B200 and TO
