[S-MODE] Upcoming Science Team Meetings

Subject: Slack and Upcoming Science Team Meetings

Hello everyone,

As the S-MODE field teams are preparing to go into full swing on the May S-MODE activities, I wanted to remind everyone that we are on Slack at s-mode.slack.com<http://s-mode.slack.com/>. We plan to post pictures and updates from the field, weather updates for flight planning, daily schedules, links to data and data visualizations, etc. If you are not a member of the S-MODE workspace or if you are having trouble logging in, please shoot me an email.

We are also planning to begin monthly science team telecons in anticipation of our full Pilot campaign scheduled to occur between October 17 – November 9. Please go to https://doodle.com/poll/pva29ndshcbk3m4t?utm_source=poll&utm_medium=link to indicate your availability during the second week of June. Subsequent meetings will be held on the second week of each month at whichever day and time is selected for the June meeting.

We would like the focus of the first few of these meetings to be on current research activities from the S-MODE science team, so we are looking for volunteers who would like to present and discuss their work. If you are interested in having a slot at a future S-MODE meeting, please contact me with the research topic and a brief description.
