Dear all,

Thank you for completing the poll for scheduling a science team meeting
to discuss planning for an April 2021 pilot campaign. Unfortunately,
there was no time when all could attend, but let's plan to have the
science team meeting on *Thursday, November 19 at 1230-1400 Pacific
Time*/1530-1700 Eastern Time.  I will send a webex and calendar
invitation shortly.

Note that this meeting is 90 minutes long.  There is a lot to discuss,
and this seems preferable to having two meetings.  I know we are all at
the limit on teleconferences, and I am sorry to add to the burden.

The present plan for the meeting is to discuss the capabilities and
known limitations of the velocity measurements we are planning
(DopplerScatt, MASS, Saildrones, Wave Gliders, drifters) in order to
inform a discussion of how to optimize the sampling for a thorough
intercomparison.  This scientific/technical discussion will primarily be
of interest to Science Team members, but all are welcome to attend.

Thank you,
Tom
