[Oracles-shadowing] Happy Holidays

Dear Namibian and South African Friends,

This is just a small note wishing you and your families a happy and 
peaceful holiday season.

The ORACLES team was hosted warmly in Namibia in 2016 and the country 
left us all with great memories. My interactions with scientists and 
students of all ages from the region all helped me understand just how 
critical the educational enterprise is for the future. As educators it 
is very rewarding to see enthusiastic students and in Namibia I saw it 
everywhere I went.

We are all looking forward to returning to Namibia next year for ORACLES 
2017. We have appointed a dedicated organizer for the outreach 
activities next year, which will mean that we should be able to reach 
out to more learners and expand the shadowing program. I am looking 
forward to collaborating further with you all.
