Hi Karla,

I was the one that came up with the list of ground-based instruments you
just sent. I selected all AERONET stations that show AOD level 1.5 V2
meas. in 2016 within a [35S-15N; 25W-50E] box. This box was randomly
selected and is a much bigger area than the ORACLES region. At the time,
it seemed that Jens, Rob, Paquita, Brent, Arlindo and Judd were all ok
with it. Please let me know if you now think it’s too big of an area.

Regarding the post-flight satellite evaluation part (i.e. METEOSAT,
MODIS, CALIOP, CATS, EPIC), similar to Pablo’s domain, my codes are
written for a smaller box: [30S-0N; 25W-25E]. If the group wants to
widen that area, I’ll modify my codes accordingly. Just let me know. In
any case, I would like my lat/lon boundaries to be similar to Pablo’s.

Thanks in advance,

Meloë.
