This message was sent out a few days ago to the TEMPO Science Team Meeting main topic presenters.  I’m forwarding it to you now as I have been informed that you will be included in this group.

Hello TEMPO Main Topic Presenters,

You are receiving this email because you are on the agenda for the TEMPO Science Team Meeting next week on June 2ndand June 3rd from 1000-1730 EDT.

  1.  Please let me know if you will have any others presenting during your time slot.  You can either update the working Agenda on the Google Drive (access sent through separate email) or email me with the names of presenters in your time slot.  Please forward them this email to them so they can prepare with the steps below.

Do you want ESPO to share slides during meeting or pass the presenter ball?

The TEMPO website will be updated with the information that you provide.

  1.  We highly recommend that you join 30 minutes early (0930 EDT) to test audio and sharing capabilities.  I will send out a calendar invite for you to accept. Alternatively, you can drag the attached .ics file to your Outlook calendar.

  2.  We recommend sharing your own presentation so you are able to use your cursor to point and to advance your own slides. Please send your backup presentation no later than Tuesday, June 1st by noon PDT to meeting-support at espo.nasa.gov<mailto:meeting-support at espo.nasa.gov> so in the event that you have connectivity issues then you can call in and we can advance your slides.

  3. The website contains the STM agenda, the lineup for presenters, and poster sessions. There are also tips for attendees and presenters.  We will be updating the Help with Webex issues tab before the meeting with any new changes to Webex.

  4. Webex has been actively updating their product and make it easier and more useful.  This will allow you as a presenter to click on the arrow by the mute button and in Settings, check to remove background noise.  This is amazing at making your voice clear and cancelling out any leaf blowers, vacuum cleaners, barking dogs, etc….

  5.  During the meeting it will be more engaging if you would share your video during your presentation.  Since we are not in Hawaii, maybe think about wearing a Hawaiian shirt?! 😊
