Hi Forecasters,

Attached is the first draft of the forecaster deployment schedule. A few
things to note:

1. This first draft schedule is ***preliminary***. We anticipate some
adjustments to the schedule once we get feedback from forecasters if their
proposed dates don't work.

2. You'll also see that most dates have a designated "on P-3" category to
allow on site forecasters to serve as an onboard P-3 scientist if there's a
flight on that day. *Please let me know if*: (1) You're unable to or
uncomfortable with being scheduled as a P-3 scientist, or (2) You're
willing to extend your time at Wallops a little bit (e.g., 2 or so days) to
have more potential opportunities to fly. Your responses will help us
finalize the P-3 onboard scientist schedule through the whole deployment
window.

3. You'll also see that some dates have an allocated "on-call" assistant
forecaster category (cyan) that will be useful in the event of a nighttime
flight when the evening shift forecaster would need assistance. We hope to
fill in this role further once we solidify the schedule better.

Please respond with any questions, concerns, or replies to the above items
by end-of-business *Tuesday 11/23*. If I don't hear from you, I'll assume
you're OK with your tentative dates and forecast duties until we send out
an updated draft in the coming days.
