Dear John,

Thanks for your support. It looks like Hamid has managed to upload it now. He does not get the e-mails with .gov.

Can you confirm that you received his upload and it is considered, despite being late w.r.t. the deadline?

Thanks and best regards,
Christian

Dear Christian

I used another proxy and it seems that this time I was successful to submit the manuscript but I don't know if it will works or not? Because it is out of the due time.

Once again many thanks for your kind support,

Best wishes,
Hamid

Greetings Hamid,

Hopefully this reaches you. Christian, please let me know if you have any answers as well.

Can you confirm that you tried to upload this to the Springer ILRC portal (https://gcc02.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fequinocs.springernature.com%2Fservice%2FILRC2022&data=05%7C01%7CILRC-30-support%40espo.nasa.gov%7C0474d0a843594b270b3d08daaa0be39f%7C7005d45845be48ae8140d43da96dd17b%7C0%7C0%7C638009265298067840%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C3000%7C%7C%7C&sdata=3s5QHy%2FsBOVa%2BDkQVmZT6zH6s%2FcdG%2FMP1hiY8FlsTmw%3D&reserved=0) and not the ILRC website? For the proceedings, each author will need to submit papers via the Springer portal. If you did try to upload to the Springer site and had an error, could you please summarize or take screenshots of the error?

Thanks in advance!

Kind regards,

Dear Christian

Wish that all would be fine with you, your family and all friends at the Lidar department. Beside very tough days that we are spending, we are somehow good. We are trying following the news, worrying about our young people and looking to see what will happen. If you let me, I would like to ask you for doing a favor. Our connection to internet is so restricted these days but I have to submit the revised version of our work to the ILRC30 organizing team. I was not able to do it through the ILRC30 webpage and I send an email to ILRC-30-support at espo.nasa.gov<mailto:ILRC-30-support at espo.nasa.gov> and attached the revised manuscript. But it seems that either they aren't receiving it or allowed to reply to my email.

So if you don't have any restriction, I appreciate if you forward my email to them.

Wish to see you in free Iran

With kindest regards

Hamid

Dear Person

In response to the referee comments on the extended Abstract:

Abstract ID: 148
Title: Comparison of Local and Transregional Atmospheric Particles Over the Urmia Lake in Northwest Iran, Using a Polarization Lidar Recordings
Name of First Author: Alizadeh, Salar
Name of Presenting Author: Khalesifard, Hamid R.
Co-authors: Moradhaseli, R.
Panahifar, H.

Due to severe restrictions on our internet connections in Iran, I haven't been able to access the ILRC30 web page and upload the edited manuscript. Therefore I am attaching the edited manuscript to this email in "word" and "pdf".

In response to the referee comment:
1. Figure 1c is changed and the radiosonde profile for 9 January is added to it.
2. Highlighted lines above Figure 1 are also added to the text
3. Just a short sentence "Altitudes are measured from the ground level" are added to captions of Figures 1 - 3 to make them more informative.

Wish that these would fulfil the referee comment.

I appreciate if you inform me about the receipt of the edited manuscript.

With kindest regards

Hamid Khalesifard

After you have submitted your revised manuscript to the Springer OCS, it will be reviewed by the Editing Team to make sure the reviewers' points have been addressed, and it will be checked for plagiarism. You will then receive a final acceptance notification from the OCS system, and you will be asked to submit your final source files (Word, LaTeX, and original figures) for final typesetting.

Thank you for contributing to the ILRC-30 Conference Proceedings.

Comments from the reviewers:

Is the time difference between the Tabriz radiosonde and the lidar measurement not too long to infer a stable atmosphere?
