Hi all,
All science personnel who have been identified as deploying to Thule for the upcoming ICESat-2 validation campaign should have received instructions Monday on how to register for the deployment. Please complete this registration by the end of the week so that we have the information we need to 1) process your base clearance and 2) book flights on the rotator that departs and returns to Baltimore-Washington International Airport (BWI) weekly.
Note that the mission dates have recently changed to July 7-25, with July 7 and July 25 being the nominal transit dates for the JSC G-V.
For those who need a seat on the rotator, please indicate via your mission registration your departure and return dates using the flight schedule that follows:
BWI - THU = July 7, July 14, July 21, July 28
THU - BWI = July 8, July 15, July 22, July 29
Lastly, all science personnel should check the attached spreadsheet, which contains your presumed travel dates and your room assignment in Thule. If you see any discrepancies, please let me know.
*All JSC aircraft personnel can disregard this message*
Thanks,
Erin Czech
